Basics of Cost Items Database
Purpose:
To setup your Items Database which can then be quickly imported into an Estimate, Invoice, Change Order, etc.
Background:
In Contractor Foreman, Cost Item Database is a good tool to add all your items like Material, Equipment, Labor etc. So you don't have to keep adding over & over.
Points to Remember:

Steps to Create a New Note:
- Navigate to Main Menu.
- Click on Cost Items Database.
- Enterthe followinginformation:
Materials Items Tab:
Select option for Material Items:
- View Imports:
- Export Material List:
- Upload & Preview CSV:
- View Import Template:
- Add Material: Fill in the below fields.
- Name: (Mandatory)
- Status: (Mandatory)
- Unit Cost/Unit: (Mandatory)
- Markup%:
- Cost Code: Select from drop-down.
- Notes
Equipment Items Tab:
Select option for Equipment Items:
- View Imports:
- Export Equipment List:
- Upload & Preview CSV:

- Add Equipment: Fill in the below fields.
