How do I import multiple contact records using the CSV file?
To import, go to the Directory and on the right side of the list view, you will have multiple Import Option drop downs. Based on which Directory contact, (Customer, Lead etc) you select the respective drop down and then import the items into the Directory. Be sure to download the import template before and add your contacts details under the correct headings and use the same template to upload the contacts.
IMPORTANT: Always import ONLY customers to the customer import drop down and choose the selective record to upload the directory type. Forgoing this step would cause a lot of manual work to remove the data.
