What is the difference between a Lead and an Opportunity?
A Lead is a Contact that you then convert to a Customer. An Opportunity is a Project in the making and is not yet ready to become a Project. It is a brewing Project that may have details in it that needs to be noted down, Estimates that needs to be created but it may or may not start and so you add those in the Opportunity. While a Lead can be converted into a Customer, an Opportunity can be converted to a Project.
